The mission of UGRC is to improve the health and well-being of Black LGBTQ communities of greater Richmond. We formed as a group of dedicated Black LGBTQ community leaders who saw the need for a coming together of LGBTQ persons of color. During the summer of 2016, these leaders discussed and envisioned ways that the Black LGBTQ communities of Greater Richmond could benefit from an event that celebrates the fullness of who we are.
