Maureen McNamara has an extensive background in for-profit and not-for-profit work. Before joining the Ms. Foundation, she worked for EngenderHealth, an international reproductive health nonprofit in fundraising and communications. Prior to joining the nonprofit sector, she was the Loyalty Marketing Product Office Director for Visa.
Maureen is also the co-founder and a board member of the Sierra Leone Village Partnerships, a non-profit that partners with communities in remote areas of Sierra Leone to complete community-driven projects and provide scholarships to young women. She also consulted with the Black Lives Matter Global Network on fundraising strategies.
She has a degree in Marketing and Japanese from Boston College and lives in Brooklyn with her husband.
