On August 17 the Ms. Foundation went to Martha’s Vineyard, enjoying a great evening of cocktails and conversations with supporters and die-hard women’s rights activists. The second annual trip also symbolized the conclusion of Ms. Foundation president and CEO Teresa C. Younger‘s year-long listening tour. In total, Younger travelled to over 50 cities and over 53,000 miles across the country.
Ms. Foundation board chair Heather Arnet and vice chair Susan Dickler hosted the event. During the event, Younger spoke in front of over 60 attendees on our work to amplify the many issues affecting women’s lives and communities through the intersections of economic justice, health and safety, and to talk about the future of feminism.
We thank all those who were able to attend. If you couldn’t join us on Martha’s Vineyard, you can meet up with Ms. at other events – such as the Michael Stars benefit on September 16!
