UNC Charlotte Women + Girls Research Alliance

EmpowHERment’s mission is empowering a continuous network of girls and women to be leaders in their community through mentorship, talent development and advocacy. Over the last 11 years, our organization has supported over 2,500 girls and women in Charlotte-Mecklenburg through our leadership programming which increases access to networks, connects girls from minority ethic groups in grades 6 – 12 with resources and provides leadership development through our mentoring program and annual summit.
