Michael Corrente, Director, Institutional Partnerships
Michael Corrente is the Director of Institutional Partnerships. He focuses on strengthening and expanding the organization's institutional relations.
Michael comes to the Ms. Foundation with over 12 years of non-profit experience. In his last role, he served as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for the Polytechnic Institute of New York University (NYU-Poly). In his tenure at NYU-Poly, he oversaw a growth of over 30% in corporate and foundation partnerships.
As Director of Grants and Administration at the City University of New York (CUNY), Michael created a new grants unit within their Central Office of Academic Affairs. There, he focused on large collaborative grant submissions among the University's 24 campuses. This effort led to raising $2 million in the first year and numerous seven-figure public and private grants. Michael is excited to return to social justice partnerships, having previously served as Manager of Corporate, Foundation, and Legislative Relations at Gay Men’s Health Crisis.
Michael holds a BFA degree in Communications from Long Island University and an MPA degree from Baruch College.
