Alesia Soltanpanah has over 14 years of non-profit fundraising management experience. Prior to joining the Ms. Foundation, she was the Chief Development Officer for Safe Horizon, where she was instrumental in the successful doubling of private revenue, including producing the largest netting event in the history of the organization. She also redesigned the organization's website and implemented an internet strategy that resulted in tripling the number of web donors.
As Vice President of Development and Marketing Communications at the animal shelter organizations, Bideawee and North Shore Animal League America, Alesia initiated programs in planned giving, major gifts and special events as well as successful celebrity spokesperson campaigns. As Assistant Vice President of Direct Marketing for Save the Children in Connecticut, she managed the web and direct mail programs.
Alesia has worked in the fashion and hardware industries where she specialized in international and domestic marketing, and during her years in Japan, she owned and managed a language translation company. Her work has been featured in the Chronicle of Philanthropy, Non-Profit Times and Fundraising Success Magazine.
She holds an MBA degree in Management and International Marketing from Golden Gate University, and a BA degree in Political Science from California State University, Sacramento.
