Elizabeth L. Bremner, Co-Treasurer

Elizabeth Bremner is the cofounder of WiserGiving, a free online toolkit designed to "make smart philanthropy simple" for individuals to help them increase the lifetime impact of their giving. For over two decades, Liz has provided leadership for new and emerging philanthropic organizations, serving as President of The Foundation Incubator (2001-2005), President and CEO of the Santa Fe Community Foundation (1993-2001), and Founding Executive Director of the Los Angeles Women's Foundation (1986-1991).

Liz currently serves on the Boards of Directors for the Ms. Foundation for Women in New York, and WiserEarth and Zero Divide in San Francisco. Liz has sat on the Boards of Women and Philanthropy, L.A. Women's Foundation, and Northern New Mexico Grantmakers where she was President of the Board. Past leadership involvements include: Leadership and Mentoring Team of the Hopi Foundation, judge for Stanford University's BASES Social E-Challenge business plan competition for social enterprises and L.A. Unified School District's Commission on Sex Equity. She also co-authored a book on children's gardening.

Liz's contributions have been honored with Full Circle Fund's Full Impact Award, Women and Philanthropy's LEAD Award, Women's Funding Network's "Changing Face of Philanthropy Award" and with commendations from the State of California, County and City of Los Angeles, and the City of Santa Fe.

She earned her B.A. from the University of California, Davis, and a Masters Degree in Management at the University of Redlands. She resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her family.
